Super Eagles midfielder, Ogenyi Eddy Onazi, has left Italian club, Lazio, to join Turkish outfit Trabzonspor after a five year stay with the former.

The Nigerian international spent five years at Lazio after joining from My People FC owned by popular preacher T.B Joshua.
The 23-year-old was targeted by the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham but the Nigeria will now join a growing contigent in Turkey.

According to Premium Times per Italian tabloid, La Repubblica, an agreement over Onazi’s transfer was sorted weeks ago, but the political instability of recent weeks in Turkey delayed the deal from going through till today.
The transfer fee for Onazi is understood to be in the region of N1.8 billion (5m Euros).
