In line with its ongoing PC adoption initiative, Intel and its partners launched a media campaign that showcases the importance of a computer. The unveiling of the campaign tagged “With A Computer, You Are Powerful” took place at the Wheatbaker Hotel, Ikoyi, Lagos on Friday, 12th August. It was my birthday and I was there. To shed more light on the objectives of the campaign, the Marketing and PR Manager for Intel West Africa, Adim Isiakpona, said that the initiative was borne out of Intel’s continued commitment to the socio-economic development of the average Nigerian. “Nigeria is a booming economy with a vast array of talent, wealth, and brain-power. Intel is proud to launch this campaign to encourage ICT growth, and ensure that the power of technology is felt across all platforms in Nigeria.
