A Ghanaian journalist, Emmanuel Orlando Matrevi, has been arrested for collecting nude pictures from women to blackmail them into having sexual intercourse with him. The 37-year old who was a volunteer with Coastal TV in cape coast, Ghana allegedly threatened to publish nude photos of ladies if they refused to have sex with him. While speaking to Onua FM, the central regional crime officer, Baffour Appenteng revealed that the suspect lures girls through social media while pretending to be someone residing abroad. He added that the journalist would establish an intimate relationship with the ladies online, then request for nude pictures and arrange a meeting telling them he is in town. During the meetings he would request to have sex with them or threaten to make the pictures public with some of the ladies giving into his demand. After a series of sexual encounter with one of his victims, the lady got fed up and reported him to the police. The accused who had been arrested and granted bail about a week ago was later re-arrested after another girl reported his activities to the police. The police have confiscated Emmanuel's iPad which contains nude photos of women that he had blackmailed. Posted on 18/01/17
